Hallelujah.
April 20, 2011
Hallelujah is the most frustrating word to spell in the English language if you ask me.
That and restaurant and cinnamon.
But onto more important things:
After one heck of a long week (and it's only Wednesday), surrounded by notebooks, textbooks, and multicolored study guides sprawled across my bed, I was finally able to walk out of the testing center and ask myself, "Is this semester really over?"
My response made me want to faint with joy.
After a semester of Hemingway, stats (just typing that raises my blood pressure), acceptance letters, kissing assignments, and a considerable amount of credits completed, I can finally hear the hallelujah chorus singing.
And now that I am one semester closer to completing this thing called higher education, I will celebrate in the only way I know how:
Shorts and a t-shirt and ice cream... even though the temperature will probably be somewhere around 58 degrees, and the rain seems to be sticking around too. But just to pretend "school is out for the summer," I will wear my summertime attire and get a kong cone perhaps, just like we used to when we were 16.
Can I start my weekend on a Thursday?

Ah, spelling 'restaurant' always annoys me. And of course you can start your weekend on Thursday :)
stats is death. i'm in it right now and i dread it more than anything. and i could totally go for a kong cone right this second. maceys is bomb when it comes to cheap ice-cream.
dude congrats on the last day of your finals - mine too! doesn't it feel wonderful? we celebrated by splashing in puddles and watching 90s chick flicks. but a kong cone is definitely a good idea. happy summertime!
congrats!!! but mostly good luck on the kong cone ;)
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, my dear!
Woohoo for extra long weekend! I so know what you mean: come on summer! Get here already!
pics-o-andrea
you're so freaking cute sissy. love ya!
Yay Kels! When do you graduate? And what are your plans for the summer?
@Mandy - The plan for me is to graduate next August (gah so long but there is light at the end of the tunnel!). As for summer, I'll stay for Spring semester and will work until I go to New Zealand most likely in July and I'll be there til school starts. Are you guys still staying in Provo?? Or are you thinking about moving up to SL still? Time for an update!
