Going back to school/work/reality this past week wasn't so bad after I made the following list:
12 Things to Look Forward to in Two-Thousand-And-Twelve:
1. A new President.
2. Valentines Day thanks to Pinterest.
(And throwing all originality out the window.)
3. The end of the world. (December 21, 2012)
4. The morning after.
5. The new Rocket Summer CD.
(please be like everything but your last CD?)
6. The return of Modern Family.
7. Turning 23!
8. Wallowa Lake next summer, and New Zealand (with significant others) next Christmas.
9. The Hunger Games, of course.
10. Titanic 3-D.
11. Titanic 3-D.
and
12. Titanic 3-D.
Now if there was anything I loved more than Mr. Dicaprio (besides Dream Street, BSB and JTT - in that order) it was Celine Dion. I remember a sleepover with my best friend Cassie in the third grade and all we did was sit by the radio to listen for Celine Dion singing My Heart Will Go On. No seriously, that's all we did. I remember that was the night we both heard the song including dialogue from the movie (which we still weren't allowed to see) and we went to school on Monday telling our friends that we had basically seen the whole thing after hearing this:
Cassie and I vowed we'd see the movie together one day when our mothers would actually let us, and when it happened, Titanic did not disappoint. So Titanic in 3D 15 years later may be one of the many reasons 2012 could never be a failure... and why starting life after two weeks of bliss wasn't all that bad, either.

Ha! You really do make me feel old sometimes. :-) I do agree though that there is a lot to look forward to this year.
I really should read The Hunger Games, huh?
haha this list is great! i whole-heartedly (spelling??) agree with everything on it. especially titanic in 3-d!! I had no idea!!!! i am obsessed with that movie and everyone makes fun of it!
i saw titanic in theaters 7 times. 7 times. when it first came out. the first time was with my boyfriend. and he tried to french kiss me after. i wouldnt open my mouth. then he dumped me. it was cool. i was in 7th grade, i was open for way more boys than jj vanderpan. that was his real name. you better believe i had those same sleepovers where we turned off all the lights and let the song move our souls. what is better?
thats all.
oh and i miss you.
Love the list! And love your pins on Pinterest!
Happy New Year! Hope it's the best one yet!
i love this list and your pins on pinterest! don't hate me, but i have never seen titanic. i know, it's probably a crime that i'm in my twenties and haven't seen it. good thing i'll be able to see it in theaters this year! :)
Ah Kels! This makes me miss you! I'm so happy that you're so happy. I hope you never stop writing on your blog because I just love keeping up with you and your life. Is that odd to say to someone who I've met once?? You're great friend.
Also, I need some Max details :)
Titanic was the first movie I ever cried over - and by cried, I mean CRIED. Hearing the song can make me sad, but in the happiest of ways.
I love this movie and I love Leonardo DiCaprio. I cannot wait for it in theaters!!! Ahhh!!
