No Good, Very Bad Day.

May 16, 2009

I had one of those days this past week.
Things couldn't have gotten any worse.
But then I read this.
It is beautiful.
I absolutely love Elder Wirthlin and his messages; he always has some of the most uplifting talks, and this is one that is just too good not to share.
So for those of you who may be having a hard time, or would just like to hear something inspiring (because sometimes the news can make this world we live in look more bleak and dark day by day) please read this. It is truly inspirational.

Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays.
“But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come.
“No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, Sunday will come. In this life or the next, Sunday will come.”
--Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, “Sunday Will Come”, Ensign, Nov. 2007
